By downloading, installing, or using the WealthCast mobile application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WealthCast is a personal financial tracking application that allows users to connect bank accounts, track investments, monitor real estate values, and calculate net worth. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Third-Party Services

WealthCast integrates with third-party services to provide its functionality:

• Plaid: For secure banking connections
• RentCast: For real estate valuations
• OpenAI: For AI-powered financial insights
• RevenueCat: For subscription management
• Firebase (Google): For analytics and crash reporting

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to: (a) provide accurate and complete information, (b) maintain the security of your account, (c) use the Service only for lawful purposes, (d) not attempt to interfere with the Service's operation, and (e) comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to: (a) violate any laws or regulations, (b) infringe on intellectual property rights, (c) transmit harmful or malicious code, (d) attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or (e) use the Service for commercial purposes without permission.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its content, features, and functionality, is owned by WealthCast and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of financial data. The Service is not intended to provide financial, investment, or professional advice.

10. AI-Powered Features

WealthCast utilizes artificial intelligence (OpenAI GPT models) to provide personalized financial insights and scenario analysis. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated insights are for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial advice
• AI responses may contain errors or inaccuracies
• You should independently verify all AI-generated recommendations
• AI features are subject to usage limits (50 requests daily, 1,000 monthly per user)
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue AI features at any time
• AI models process your financial data to generate personalized responses, but no data is stored by OpenAI

11. Subscription Services and Payments

WealthCast offers premium subscription tiers processed through RevenueCat and Apple/Google payment systems:

• Subscription Tiers: Free (basic features) and Premium (advanced features including AI insights, unlimited scenarios, and Plaid integration)
• Pricing: Monthly ($7.99/month) and Annual ($59.99/year) options available
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings
• Refunds: Managed by Apple/Google per their refund policies
• Changes to Pricing: We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with 30 days notice
• Access Upon Cancellation: Premium features remain accessible until subscription expiry date
• Feature Changes: We may modify which features are included in premium tiers with reasonable notice

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WealthCast shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from use of the Service.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via the Service or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Massachusetts.
